# Creating A Portal

A portal is the most secure way to protect your group, blocking bad actors with multiple security levels and keeping your group safe. Safeguard offers the most secure portal on Telegram with over 100,000 malicious bot accounts blocked from your group

Tip: When making a portal, ensure your group where people talk is private and the channel with the portal is public, otherwise the portal is useless

## Fast Setup

Fast Setup is the recommended way to setup a portal for your group. To setup portal follow the steps below:<br>

1. Message Safeguard `/setup` in a private chat
2. Click 'Select a group' and choose your group
3. Click 'Select a channel' and choose a channel where the portal will be posted
4. Done! Create the portal or configure options first. More indepth details below

## Portal Configuration

Make your portal pretty for a good first impression

To add Media or Text onto your portal click the button and then send your new media / text directly to Safeguard

**Adding Buttons:**

Click Add Buttons and it will bring you to the screen above.

To add a new button, click "+ Add Button" and send a button in the syntax below:

To edit a button, click on the button above the line, you can then remove or change the title.

## Old Setup

To setup a portal the old fashioned way type `/oldsetup` in a group. This can be done if you don't have sufficient permissions or have an old Telegram client that doesn't let you do fast setup

Once this message is received, make a **channel** and add Safeguard in as an admin. This must be a channel, groups won't work for your portal.

Finally, **forward** this exact message into your new channel by right clicking and forwarding it. Done! Your portal is created.


# Spam Control

### To access all spam block settings, use the command `/config` in your group.

### Anti-Raid

Anti-raid is a spam prevention which stops users from sending excessively large messages. There's 3 different modes, Off-duty, standard, and strict. For most groups, we recommend standard. Standard with trusting low risk users rarely deletes any non-spam messages

### Flood Control

Flood control is a spam prevention which stops users from sending messages too fast. The default is light which is 1/4 on the scale of difficulties. This will be rare to trigger on accident, however it can happen if your chat is very hyped. However, with normal chatting this will never be triggered without intention

**Trust low risk users** is an option on both of these settings. If enabled, users with Telegram premium or users who have deemed themselves as trustworthy by chatting and being long time users will have more leniency than others.

### AI Ban

To use this, reply to a spam / malicious message with `/aiban`

Doing this adds the message to your groups database, where every new message is compared to it. If it's deemed as too similar, it will be automatically deleted. On top of this, their message is sent to us for review and if deemed not safe the user will be permanently banned from Safeguard. This is perfect for pump groups and other malicious spam.

To clear your AI Ban database use `/clearaiban`

### Join Captcha

Join captcha is a mode in `/config > Welcome Messages` - When turned on, users will be muted on join and have to verify with Safeguard to be able to chat. This is not as secure as a portal, however it can stop spam and is a good measure


# Scam Blocker

### Scam Blocker is one of Safeguard's most powerful anti-bot features

## How does it work?

Scam blocker can be configured in `/config > Scam Blocker`

The only setting enabled by default is Sus Website Block, which blocks out unrecognized websites. You can turn on TG Links, links to other channels or users, and CA Block, contract addresses manually.

When a setting is enabled any untrustworthy users will be blocked from sending this

### Who are untrustworthy users and what is "Level"?

Trust is a global system on Safeguard where active and long time users gain more experience. Level 1 will only affect very new, inexperienced users, which is 98% of bots. Level 2 and 3 gradually affect users with higher levels of trust


# Welcomes & Filters

### Both of these settings can be accessed in `/config > Greetings`

After clicking Greetings you'll be taken to this screen, where you have the option to enable or disable welcome messages and Join captcha

After clicking Set Welcome Message you'll be brought here. To change Text or Media, click on the desired button and send your new text / media directly into the chat (Private or group)

Clicking Edit Buttons brings you here. To add buttons, click Add Buttons and send a message containing every single button you want to add using the syntax, described below

Make sure there is no space between the \[] and () and that your link contains no spaces in it. If the message doesn't send after clicking "View Current Welcome" its due to one of your button links not being a valid link.


# Verification Issues?

### If you're having issues while verifying, such as webapp not loading, use the command `/switch`

Once switched, redo the verification process. Your verification will now be done in a browser as opposed to in a Telegram webapp. This can be needed if you're using an outdated version of Telegram or are missing important drivers on your PC [(Webview2 Runtime)](https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/#download-section)

# Buy Bot Setup

To begin the setup, type `/add` in your group. Then, click the button on the message and start setup in Safeguard. You'll first be prompted with...

Choose your chain, next the bot will ask you to send your contract address. Send it and you'll be asked to select your pair

The majority of the time there will only be one pair, however if you're not sure just select the pair closest to the top. This is the one with the most volume.

# Settings

To access your settings, do `/settings` in your group when buy bot is live. Doing so, you'll be prompted with below

### Gif / Media

Click to set a media that will appear on your buys. This can be a video, gif or image

### Min Buy

This is the minimum buy that will be broadcasted in your group

### Emoji

This is the emoji that will show on your buys which represents how large the buy is

### Step

This is the $ amount per emoji that shows. A lower amount, the more emojis that show

### Show Price

Check this if you want to have an additional line on every buy which shows the token price

### Whale Alerts

When a wallet with value over $35,000 in ETH / BNB / Stables buys your token there's an extra part of your buy message which says their wallet value

### Ignore Mev Bots

When this is enabled all those mev bots will be blocked from showing in your chat. No more Jaredfromsubway spamming your chat

### Link TG

Add your Telegram to be shown on [@Trending](https://t.me/trending) if you trend

### Circ Supply

Use if you have a large amount of burned supply, this will make the market cap on your buys accurate

### Add Buttons

When clicked you'll be prompted with

Click add to add a button then send the syntax shown. Button name on top, link below on a newline. The buttons will appear under your buys with max 3 allowed

### Buy Layouts

When clicked you'll be prompted with

You can click each layout to change it or choose Custom Layout, where you can customize every single thing about your buy messages. This is for advanced users, with very large syntax explained in that menu.

### Buy Competition

When clicked you'll be prompted with

Adjust all settings and start competition. Starting competition will pin the message in your group. The largest buys will be added to your message and once the competition ends, a new message will be sent with the winner.

If an address gets through, like a mev or seller, that shouldn't be there use `/disqualify address`

### Clone

Cloning can send your buys from a completely custom bot instead of Safeguard, when clicked you'll be prompted with

### If needed, reset your buy bot with /reset
